See It In Real Backyards
New Quartz Finish, Ready for Water
A pool at the end of a resurface, before the water goes in: new white quartz finish on every surface, new blue waterline tile, the crew doing the final polish. The one moment you can actually see a resurfacing — after this it's underwater for the next decade.
Plaster Day on the Lake
Plaster day on a lakefront remodel: the crew moving wet plaster across the floor with the lake and boat dock behind them. Plaster sets fast, so this is choreography — mixed, pumped, troweled, and watered the same day.
Blue-Tile Waterline & Travertine Coping
The finished state a remodel is aiming for: cobalt blue waterline tile, travertine coping, clear balanced water in an ordinary suburban yard. Most of our remodels are pools someone else built — this is what “better than the day it was poured” looks like.
Remodeling & Resurfacing — Questions
How often should a pool be resurfaced?
Plaster finishes typically last 8–15 years depending on water chemistry and use. If you're seeing rough spots, staining, or exposed aggregate, it's time to resurface.
Can you remodel a pool you didn't build?
Absolutely — most of our remodels are pools built by someone else. We'll assess what you have and give you honest options.
Can I add a spa or waterfall to my existing pool?
Yes. Attached spas, raised bond beams, waterfalls and sun ledges can all be added to an existing gunite pool as part of a remodel.
